Campbell’s Acquisition of La Regina Announced Alongside Earnings
On December 9, The Campbell’s Company officials announced plans to acquire a majority stake in an Italian tomato processor called La Regina Di San Marzano, according to the company’s latest earnings report. By the second half of 2026, the acquisition will be complete after two payments toward the total $286 million valuation, according to Campbell's leaders.

Peru-based Gloria Group has announced that it has divested from non-core markets like Puerto Rico to focus on regional efficiency. Its Puerto Rico business has been purchased by CC1’s subsidiary, Suiza Caribe. CC1 is also the parent company of Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers, Gloria Group announced to the Peruvian Stock Exchange.

General Mills Sells Canadian Yogurt Business
General Mills has sold its Canadian Yogurt Business to the French dairy cooperative Sodiaal, the US firm said. The deal includes the Canadian operations of several yogurt brands including Yoplait and Liberté, as well as a manufacturing facility in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, it said.
General Mills is also in the process of selling its US Yogurt business to French firm Lactalis. The sale “will close in calendar 2025,” it said, but adding it was subject to regulatory approvals.
