FMI Welcomes Illinois Ruling Maintaining Prohibition of Swipe Fees on Sales Tax

Today [February 10, 2026], FMI – The Food Industry Association applauded a ruling by the Chief Judge of the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division that upheld the Interchange Fee Prohibition Act. Cattle Farmers and Ranchers Join President Trump to Push for Tax Relief

Today, farmers and ranchers affiliated with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) joined President Donald J. Trump at the White House for an event rging Congress to pass the “One Big Beautiful Bill” and deliver tax relief.
