Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DNKN), the parent company of Dunkin' (DD) and Baskin-Robbins (BR), announced today that John Varughese has been promoted to Senior Vice President, International with responsibility for all aspects of Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin' business units outside the U.S. Mr. Varughese will report directly to Dave Hoffmann, Dunkin' Brands CEO and Dunkin' U.S. President, and will serve on the Company's leadership team. He replaces Nigel Travis, Dunkin' Brands Chairman, who served as interim head of International for the past nine months. Mr. Travis will continue in his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

David Hoffmann Named Dunkin’ Brands CEO; Nigel Travis Appointed Executive Chairman
Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc., the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts (DD) and Baskin-Robbins (BR), today announced that David Hoffmann, 50, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He will also serve on the Company’s Board of Directors and remain President of Dunkin’ Donuts U.S. The members of the Dunkin’ Brands Leadership Team will now report to Mr. Hoffmann who is succeeding Nigel Travis, 68. Mr. Travis is retiring from the role he has held since January 2009.
Additionally, the Company announced that Mr. Travis has been named Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and will remain actively involved with the Company, with a particular focus on the continued development of the international businesses.

Dunkin’ Donuts Announces Plans For Five New Restaurants Throughout North Carolina
Canton, MA: Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, announced today the signing of two multi-unit store development agreements to establish five Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the Greensboro, Wilmington and Greenville communities of North Carolina with two franchise groups which include both existing and new franchisees.
Jody Edwards, a former professional tennis player, has been a Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee since 2010 and currently owns five Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the coastal Carolina region.
