Spanish 2025/26 Citrus Harvest Will Be the Lowest in 16 Years, Ministry Says
Spain's Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food (MAPA) forecasts a citrus production of 5.44 million metric tons for the 2025/2026 season, which started on September 1. The forecast would mean 655,000 fewer tons, or a 10.4% fall, compared to the previous season, and 14.2% down compared to the five-year average.
MAPA also forecasts it will be the smallest harvest season in 16 years.
