FDA Issues Emergency Use Authorization for Generic OTC Drug to Treat NWS in Dogs and Cats

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for generic Nitenpyram Tablets (nitenpyram) for the treatment of New World screwworm (NWS) infestations (myiasis) in dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens that weigh at least two pounds and are at least four weeks old. FDA Issues Emergency Use Authorization for Topical Spray to Prevent & Treat NWS in Multiple Species

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for F10 Antiseptic Wound Spray with Insecticide (benzalkonium chloride, polyhexanide, and cypermethrin topical solution) for the prevention and treatment of New World screwworm (NWS) infestations (myiasis).
