While the competition shrinks their dollar menus as small as the menu items on them, Taco Bell is bucking the trend by kicking off 2020 with 21 flavorful $1 offerings. Leading the way, the brand is reintroducing one of its most successful $1 menu items, the $1 Double Stacked Tacos in three craveable flavors. The Nacho Crunch, Chipotle Cheddar and Reaper Ranch Double Stacked Tacos will be available a la carte and in a $5 Cravings Box nationwide and for a limited time starting on December 26.

Taco Bell Rolls Out New Vegetarian Menu Nationwide

For years, Taco Bell's delicious vegetarian menu items have been one of the best kept secrets for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Beginning Thursday, the brand that has proudly offered great tasting vegetarian options for some time, will launch a not-so-new "new" vegetarian menu nationwide for the first time ever. With 13 great tasting menu items available at more than 7,000 participating restaurants, Taco Bell continues to lead the way with a meaningful vegetarian menu and remains committed to making the items more accessible by including them on a permanent menu board.

Taco Bell Releases Statement Regarding Reduction in Antibiotics Used for Beef 

Taco Bell recognizes consumers’ growing food supply concerns, including animal welfare and antibiotic resistance. Building upon its commitment to making its beef more sustainable from January 2019, Taco Bell has committed to reduce antibiotics important to human health in its U.S. and Canada beef supply chain by 25% by 2025. This new policy around its dominant menu protein, beef, will better protect human, animal and environmental health.

As part of this new policy, Taco Bell will also give preference to suppliers that are making measured reductions in their use of antibiotics important to human health, as defined by the World Health Organization, as well as suppliers that increase veterinary oversight when it is required to medically treat sick animals.
