Darden Sees Same-Store Sales Growth Across All Segments in Fiscal 2026
Darden Restaurants closed fiscal 2026 with sales and earnings growth that, according to President & CEO Rick Cardenas, outpaced the broader restaurant industry. Results were driven by positive same-restaurant sales across all segments, continued unit expansion and the benefit of a 53rd week of operations.
The company reported fiscal 2026 sales of $13.21 billion, up 9.4%, while blended same-restaurant sales increased 4.5%.

Darden Restaurants reported solid growth in its third quarter of fiscal 2026, with total sales rising 5.9% year-over-year (YOY) to $3.3 billion. This increase was driven by a blended same-restaurant sales gain of 4.2% and contributions from 31 net new restaurant openings.

Darden Restaurants Outlines Strategic Changes for Bahama Breeze Banner
Today, Darden Restaurants announced that it has completed its exploration of strategic alternatives for its Bahama Breeze banner, following previous discussions of potentially selling or introducing other Darden brands at those locations.
The company has now confirmed both decisions: 14 Bahama Breeze locations will permanently close, while space from the remaining 14 stores will be used for other restaurants within the Darden umbrella.
