ANALYSIS: August USDA Outlook Reshapes the Q3 Protein Picture
The August USDA Livestock, Dairy & Poultry Outlook presents a materially different picture than last month across major protein categories. Unlike previous reports, which projected year-over-year (YOY) production gains across all four proteins in Q3, the latest data shows beef contracting on a YOY basis while broilers and turkey have been revised higher.
