According to SENASICA data compiled by Expana, active New World Screwworm (NWS) cases in Mexico declined to 1,913 this week, down 5.3% from the previous report. Of the total active cases, 868 have been confirmed in cattle. While the outbreak remains near historically elevated levels, recent weekly changes continue to indicate a slower pace than the rapid expansion observed during the second quarter.
