ANALYSIS: Japan and Mexico Lead Strong 2026 Q1 Growth in US Beef Variety Meat Exports
US beef variety meat exports according to the US Meat Export Federation posted very strong growth through the first quarter of 2026, with total world exports reaching 80,654 metric tons (MT), up 14% from the same period in 2025. Export value showed even more impressive growth, climbing 45% year over year (YOY) to $367.6 million, highlighting the significantly stronger pricing environment for variety meats globally.
