ANALYSIS: FSIS July 2025 Boneless Beef Shipments to the US Slow Amid Tariff Uncertainty
During the month of July, 69,285 metric tons (mt) of boneless beef were passed for entry into the US, which is a decline of 12,000 metric tons from June (-14.7%). Overseas purchasing slowed at the beginning of summer as importers worked to understand a changing tariff landscape. In many instances, participants were strategic about dates to be compliant to achieve the lowest tariff possible.
