Urner Barry Releases February Pulse Protein Report
As of February 8, Ethiopia has bumped China from the top spot of the dried pea export value chart. A 78% increase in value year-over-year was noted for Ethiopia, and China holds the fourth spot with a 51% decrease year-over-year. Meanwhile, Canada holds the first spot for lentils with an 18% increase in value. India is no longer one of the top five countries in the export value chart for lentils, losing the fifth-place spot this month to Peru. Pakistan remains in the first spot for dried chickpea exports for the second consecutive month, with an 18% decrease in value year-over-year.
