Hormel Takes Pepperoni Lovers Beyond the Pie
A new Hormel ad campaign launched today, with the tagline Think It Up, Make it Up, Pep it Up! The initiative consists of three animated “pepisodes” featuring an animated scene surrounding the use of pepperoni in a different food, from nachos to pizza bagels.
One spot replaces a basketball with a slice of pepperoni which is then “dunked” onto a pizza bagel, and another has a couple lifted airborne by pepperoni “balloons” that then ascend further onto the surface of a quesadilla.
