US cage-free wholesale values posted their strongest weekly advance since May, with the rest-of-market quote climbing 8% to $0.84/dozen while California large gained 15cts to $0.99/dozen. The increase reflects a rapid tightening in spot availability, fueled by a combination of strong export movement, ongoing flock rotations, weather-related production impacts, and increasingly aggressive buying activity.
