India on 21-Day Lockdown to Contain Coronavirus
India Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Tuesday afternoon that the country will be on a 21-day lockdown as they try to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The lockdown will begin at midnight local time and applies to all of India’s 36 states and territories.
As of this writing there are 519 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country that is home to 1.3 billion people.
According to the guidelines, the Offices of the Government of India will remain closed except for some exceptions...
