KFC Sold Out of Its Beyond Fried Chicken Nuggets and Wings
Yesterday, Kentucky Fried Chicken became the first national U.S. quick service restaurant to introduce plant-based chicken, through a partnership with Beyond Meat. The new plant-based Beyond Fried Chicken offers the fried chicken flavor KFC delivers as an option for those searching for alternative protein options on-the-go. Consumers in Atlanta, Georgia were the first to have the opportunity to try KFC's Beyond Fried Chicken as part of an exclusive one restaurant test. Those that wanted to be among the first to try the new plant-based chicken were invited to stop by the Cobb Parkway restaurant for a complimentary sample with the purchase of any KFC menu item.
