Prop 12 Complaints Continue After High Court Rejection
California's Proposition 12 was in the news again last year as people waited to see if the U.S. Supreme Court would hear a second case challenging it.
Last June, anticipation of a high court ruling was eliminated as the court decided not to hear the case brought by Iowa Pork Producers Association. Proposition 12 remains unchanged and requires producers and processors selling in California to comply with its standards.
