Mexico Suspends Imports of Poultry Products from Brazil Due to Bird Flu Outbreak
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER) announced this Saturday the precautionary suspension of imports of poultry products from Brazil, after that country confirmed its first outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in a commercial farm.
Mexico is suspending as a precautionary measure the importation of chicken meat, fertile eggs and live birds, among other poultry products from Brazil," the agency announced in an official statement.
