ANALYSIS: New Zealand July Beef Exports Up 12.8% YOY as China's Pivot Kicks In
New Zealand's beef exports eased 23.8% month-on-month (MOM) to 40,340 MT in July 2026, a standard seasonal retreat following May's all-time record of 57,801 MT, according to the latest Stats NZ data.
The 12.8% year-on-year (YOY) gain extended the recovery from 2025's depressed base, lifting the seven-month cumulative to 322,444 MT, up 7.1% YOY.
