NDFU Issues Statement on Senate Farm Bill Proposal
North Dakota Farmers Union President Matt Perdue issued the following statement today in response to the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee’s release of The Agricultural Act of 2026:
“The Senate farm bill proposal includes many of the same helpful provisions included in the House-passed version. It updates farm loan programs and reauthorizes voluntary conservation, rural development and farmer mental health programs. These updates will benefit family farmers and ranchers and their communities.
