Shoppers across Scotland have been left scrambling to find eggs as supermarket shelves have been left empty due to a shortage.
One of the biggest egg producers in the country has been hit by a third outbreak of bird flu.
Pictures from inside an Asda superstore in Glasgow show bare shelves where eggs usually sit.
Only a dozen cartons remain on the top shelf.
