In Aftermath of Tyson Closure, Nebraska Lawmaker Seeks Protections for Laid-Off Workers
The Nebraska lawmaker who represents Lexington said she received almost 1,000 letters from residents asking her to enhance worker protections - not to benefit Tyson employees who were bracing to be laid off, but to help workers the next time a company decides to close shop.
