Bird Flu Antibodies Found in a Cow in the Netherlands: First Time Outside the USA
The red light came on after the death of a cat, which two days earlier had tested positive for bird flu. The case immediately triggered a report and, subsequently, controls. And so, H5N1 virus antibodies were found in a dairy cow in the Netherlands.
