ANALYSIS: Chicken Industry Sets Stage For Potential Production Gains in Q1
The USDA’s Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Outlook forecast for first-quarter 2026 points to a familiar but increasingly pronounced theme across the protein complex when measured year-over-year against Q1 of ‘25. Total production trends remain uneven across the protein categories, with chicken production expectations remaining on the upswing, while other segments display more restrained or even lower, YOY projections.
