October Storms Damage Rice and Agricultural Areas Across Asia
Typhoon Matmo passed over northern Vietnam in October, with Thái Nguyên province experiencing the heaviest damage, followed by Cao Bằng and Lạng Sơn. The Expana Global Weather Report - October 2025 said the storm caused widespread floods that submerged or destroyed 62,000 acres of rice paddies.
