Iran Reports Bird Flu Outbreak in Poultry, WOAH Says
Iran reported an outbreak of the highly contagious H5N1 bird flu virus in poultry in the northern part of the country, the World Organisation for Animal Health said on Tuesday, citing a report from Iranian authorities.
The outbreak killed 10 birds out of a flock of 90, the WOAH said. All other birds were slaughtered, it said.
