McCormick Cites Consumer Demand for Higher Profit, Sales
McCormick & Co. logged higher profit and sales in its fiscal third quarter, boosted by ongoing demand for its products, though the company noted higher costs have eaten into its bottom line.
The maker of spices and seasonings on Tuesday posted a profit of $225.5 million, or 84 cents a share, for its three months ended Aug. 31. That is compared with a profit of $223.1 million, or 83 cents a share, a year earlier.
