Bolivia: Standard Aims to Double Milk Production and Increase Per Capita Milk Consumption
The Milk Production Fund Bill "Milk for Growth", approved last week in the Chamber of Deputies, plans to increase per capita consumption of milk in Bolivia from 70 to 100 liters per day and double its production, according to the Government.
Israel Romero, head of Innovation of Pro Bolivia, explained that currently the country has a per capita consumption of 70 liters per person and with the norm will encourage production and therefore aims to encourage the consumption of dairy.
