[Croatia] Agriculture Minister: 55,000 Pigs Culled, ASF Poses National Security Risk
Agriculture Minister David Vlajčić told the Croatian Parliament's Agriculture Committee on Thursday that 55,000 pigs -- around 5-6% of the country's pig population -- have been culled due to African Swine Fever (ASF).
He described the outbreak as a national security issue, with nearly 70% of pig farming in Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem counties at risk.
