US Manufacturing Growth Slows in September as Tariffs Weigh
The US manufacturing sector grew for the fourth consecutive month in September, said S&P Global on Wednesday, but with a separate report indicating a continued contraction in the sector.
The US manufacturing purchasing managers' index recorded 52.0 points in September, down from 53.0 a month prior and indicating a weaker rate of expansion of the manufacturing sector.
