Global Dairy Trade Index Edges Down on September 16
The Global Dairy Trade (GDT) index extended losses on September 16, edging down by 0.8% to $4,041/MT from $4,043/MT on September 2.
The total volume sold decreased to 39,093 metric tons (MT) from 41,465 MT in the previous event.
Cheddar was again the only one to rise on the event, increasing by 2.2% to $4,814/MT. Lactose was once again not offered at the event, and neither was butter milk powder. The rest were all down compared to the previous event.
