Casey’s General Stores Profit, Revenue Rise
The convenience store operator's results were driven by strong same-store sales growth
Casey's General Stores posted higher profit and revenue in its fiscal first quarter, boosted by same-store sales growth.
The convenience store operator posted a profit of $215.4 million, or $5.77 a share, compared with $180.2 million, or $4.83 a share, a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet had been expecting $5.02 a share.
