Tesco Meal Supplier Warns of Hit from Employer Costs
A supplier of microwave meals to Tesco has warned that rising commodity prices and wage costs could deliver a financial hit of £65 million.
Bakkavor has stated its finances have come under pressure from the government's increase to employers' national insurance and the national living wage as it prepares to merge with Greencore, a competitor in the food-to-go sector.
