South Africa: State-Owned Daybreak Foods Seeks Strategic Partner as Business Rescue Plan Takes Shape
Struggling state-owned poultry producer, Daybreak Foods, has appointed Park Village Auctions to oversee the critical phases of its business rescue plan, including the disposal of non-core assets and the search for a strategic equity partner.
Senior business rescue practitioner, Tebogo Maoto, announced last week that the auction house would lead two key components of the rescue strategy following the publication of Daybreak’s business rescue plan on 22 August.
Daybreak is wholly owned and controlled by the Public Investment Corporation (PIC)
