Methane Emissions Rise in Brazil, the World's Largest Beef Exporter
Brazilian emissions of a potent greenhouse gas called methane increased 6% between 2020 and 2023, the year in which the world's largest beef exporter reached the second-highest level of methane emissions ever, or 21.1 million tons.
