Top Chinese Trade Negotiator Set To Head To US as Talks Resume
A senior Chinese trade negotiator is heading to Washington this week for what is expect to be the first round of negotiations in the U.S. capital, according to people familiar with the matter, as both sides seek to establish a regular dialogue during an extended tariff truce.
Li Chenggang, the top aide to Beijing's lead negotiator, He Lifeng, will meet with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and senior officials at the Department of Treasury later this week, the people said. Li will also meet with representatives of the U.S. business community...
