Applebee’s, IHOP Sees Improvement, Outback Has Mixed Performance
Consumers are being pickier when it comes to eating out.
Dine Brands Global posted a smaller second-quarter profit but noted improving sales at its Applebee's and IHOP restaurants.
However, fellow restaurant operator Bloomin' Brands expects a rocky second-half of the year as it cut its full-year adjusted outlook despite a better-than-expected second-quarter.
