ANALYSIS: Turkey Production Lifts Off with Growing Poult Placements and Health Improvements
This year's turkey hatch figures continue to lag behind the 5-year average but still outpace last year on a year-to-date (YTD) basis. Tom and hen poult placements are up year-over-year (YOY) by 3.5% and 3.4%, respectively, while egg sets are up 2.5% from last year.
