EU Trade Chief to Contact US Officials After 30% Tariff Threat
The European Union's top trade negotiator said he will speak to his U.S. counterparts again after President Trump threatened to slap a 30% tariff on goods from the bloc over the weekend.
"I intend to speak with my U.S. counterparts again later today, as I cannot imagine walking away without genuine effort," Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic said on Monday.
