Argentina's Agricultural Export Revenue Jumps Ahead of Tax Hike
Exports from Argentina's agricultural sector jumped 87% in June compared to the same month a year earlier, the country's CIARA-CEC grains processors and exporters' chamber said on Tuesday.
The agricultural sector brought in a total of $3.7 billion through exports in June, the chamber said in a statement, driven by strong sales ahead of a tax hike on grain shipments that went into effect at the start of July.
