Oil Rises More Than 1% After Report on US-China Call
Oil prices rose more than 1% on Thursday, rebounding from the previous day's drop, after Chinese state media reported that President Xi Jinping spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump by phone.
The official Xinhua news agency reported that the talks were held at Trump's request, without providing further details about the leaders' conversation.
Brent crude futures were up 85 cents, or 1.3%, at $65.71 a barrel by 1351 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude rose 97 cents, or about 1.5%, to $63.82 a barrel...
