JM Smucker to Close Indianapolis Sweet Baked Snacks Facility
By early 2026, the JM Smucker Company will close a sweet baked snacks manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, according to a press release.
The 371-person facility produces the company’s Hostess brand products like the Chocolate Cupcakes which feature main ingredients like sugar, enriched flour, corn syrup, palm oil, cocoa, tallow, soybean oil, among other ingredients like eggs, milk, wheat, and more.
"This decision continues the ongoing work to ensure our manufacturing network is optimized to mitigate costs and reduce complexity in support of the execution of our Sweet Baked Snacks strategy..."
