Marks & Spencer Expects $400 Million Hit From Cyberattack
U.K. retailer Marks & Spencer warned that it expects a $400 million hit on its operating profit from the cyberattack it suffered last month, with online disruption likely to continue into July.
M&S was forced to pause online shopping and took on extra waste, logistics and stock management costs after the cyberattack in late April, it said. The estimated 300 million-pound ($401.8 million) hit to its fiscal 2026 operating profit excludes cost mitigation, insurance and trading actions, the company said Wednesday.
