Employees at St. Bernard Soap Company Brace for Mass Layoff in December
More than one hundred employees at the St. Bernard Soap Company, formerly owned by Procter & Gamble, are preparing for a mass layoff starting in December.
Established in Cincinnati, Ohio by Procter & Gamble in 1886, bar soap has been produced at the Ivorydale facility for more than 125 years. The facility employs over 250 people, according to the company's website.
P&G sold the facility in 2003, when it then became St Bernard Soap Company under which multiple brands were manufactured....
