Mother’s Day Spending to Reach Record Breaking $35.7 Billion
The National Retail Federation (NRF) said that consumers are planning to spend a record $35.7 billion on Mother’s Day this year, nearly $4 billion more than last year’s record high of $31.7 billion.
The data comes from an annual survey released by NRF and Prosper Insights & Analytics. Eighty-four percent of U.S. adults are expected to celebrate the holiday.
