Maersk Deploying Fleet of Electric Trucks to Provide Sustainable Supply Chain Options
Shipping giant Maersk will add a fleet of 300 electric trucks to its North America operations with delivery set between 2023-2025. The move will create the largest heavy-duty electric truck deployment to date.
The trucks will be used in the company’s warehousing, distribution and transportation business called Performance Team – A Maersk Company. The move comes thanks to a partnership with Einride, a tech company focused on freight mobility solutions.
