IPC Meeting Set for New Orleans, Louisiana
The International Poultry Council meets in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 13-18, marking the organization’s first meeting in the US in 14 years.
Highlighting the agenda in the “Big Easy” will be the top issues facing the poultry industries around the world, including the economic outlook with Christine McCracken, senior protein analyst at Rabobank, headlining a slate of speakers.
The first semester 2019 meeting will also mark a milestone as Jim Sumner steps down as president after leading IPC in that role since its inception in 2005. Sumner, however, will continue to be involved and IPC and with his role as president of the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council.
