Giant Food to Invest $175 Million in Expansion and Store Enhancement
Significant efforts will include new locations and store remodels to benefit local shoppers across Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia and Delaware
Giant Food, the leading greater Washington D.C. regional grocery chain, announced today a $175 million capital investment into expansion and improvement over the next two years. The significant investment will include one new store and 24 store remodels. These efforts are in addition to the recently announced $21 million investment into a new Giant in Olney, MD, set to open in spring 2019.
