Vice President Pence and Secretary Perdue Briefed on Hurricane Michael
Vice President Mike Pence and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue were briefed today on the potential impacts of Hurricane Michael as it relates to agriculture and rural communities in the storm’s path. Participating in the briefing via conference line were Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam and Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Gary Black who provided updates on current conditions in their states.
