Today, National Beef owners have reached an agreement to sell an ownership interest in National Beef Packing Company, LLC to NBM US Holdings (NBM), an indirect subsidiary of Marfrig Global Foods S.A.. NBM will acquire approximately 51% of the outstanding ownership interests in National Beef, while approximately 49% ownership interest remains with our current owners, including Leucadia National Corporation, U.S. Premium Beef, NBPCo Holdings and myself.
Marfrig is a global, diversified food company with locations on four continents and products in approximately 100 countries.
